| Hi everyone,
I just want to let you know I had a great time rehearsing with Chad and John on Friday. They are massive GLENN/PURPLE fans and have learned the whole Burn album. They have asked me to do a selection of songs from Burn with them today, and I am very excited about it - I am really enjoying their spin on these songs, some of which I have not played in many years.
I look forward to seeing some of you there.

| Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple/Black Sabbath) and Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple/Rainbow) will be at the Grand Opening of The Kitchen at The Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
They will be part of a star-studded roster of musicians celebrating the grand opening of the Hard Rock Hotel's newest eatery, The Kitchen. Turner and Hughes will join members of Sugar Ray and NSYNC, The Fixx, Lita Ford, Sammy Hagar and other rock/pop luminaries at the 2 day event that kicks off with an artist party on Wednesday, October 29th and the official "debut" of the restaurant on Thursday, October 30th, 2003.
The Kitchen is the hotel's newly redesigned full-service restaurant (formally The Sunset Grill). Taking on the appearance of the spacious kitchen in a rock megastar's mansion, The Kitchen's walls are adorned with culinary-themed memorabilia from the Hard Rock Hotel's many celebrity guests.
Visiting rock stars often perform cooking demonstrations of their favourite dishes at the Chef's Table and afterward their personalized cooking apparel is immortalized on the restaurant's "Apron Wall."
Joe Lynn Turner has already volunteered to cook his Meat Sauce for pasta recipe that is a family tradition and will also appear in the forthcoming "Food That Rocks" celebrity cookbook.
The cookbook, authored by chef/food writer Margie Lapanja and Cindy Coverdale (wife of Whitesnake singer, David Coverdale), features recipes from various rock and pop musicians' own personal collections.
Joe and Glenn will also be promoting their 3 forthcoming CD releases due out in the USA by mid-November. Turner's is titled simply, JLT and is his 8th solo album release. Hughes' Songs In The Key Of Rock is a return to the former Deep Purple Bassist/Vocalist's 70s rock roots. Also expected in the USA stores next month is the second studio album by Joe and Glenn's - Hughes Turner Project, titled HTP2.

| GLENN at 2003 Tommy Bolin Music Festival | Posted Sunday, April 27 2003
| The 2003 Tommy Bolin Music Festival 'The Ultimate' will be held August 1st & 2nd at the legendary Surf Ballroom (www.surfballroom.com) in Clear Lake, Iowa.
Thus far we have signed (in no particular order and the schedule is not yet decided) GLENN HUGHES (Rocky Athas, Craig Erickson), Vanilla Fudge, Chris Duarte, Mountain & Savoy Brown (Kim Simmonds - electric set).
We are still waiting for Frank Marino (a personal event may keep him from committing, but he does want to do it), Pat Travers, & Robin Trower. If Trower comes he will more than likely have the Thursday night spot adding an unofficial day to the Fest.
The folks at the Surf are VERY excited and as you can see are pulling out all the stops. The Tribute Band will perform on Saturday with GLENN HUGHES, Craig Erickson, Rocky Athas, we are hopeful in getting Terry Brooks, and will have guests like Frank Marino, Carmine Appice, and of course Johnnie Bolin. GLENN will be performing BOTH nights.
His own set on Friday and then the Tribute band on Saturday... HUGHES/BOLIN FANS WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS !!!!!!!!!!!
We had wanted to get all the acts signed before any official announcement, but it's almost May so here we go. We will be putting together a page at www.tommybolin.org that will have all the Fest info on it.
Also watch for the July issue of Vintage Guitar Magazine magazine. They are doing a full feature on Tommy Bolin with comments from GLENN HUGHES, Nikki Sixx, Johnnie Bolin, Jeff Cook, and many others.
We hope to see you all in Clear Lake !!!!
