Hey,
It was Pat Thrall who got the deal to write for
the Dragnet soundtrack. He brought in Glenn and
Dan Aykroyd who is a big Deep Purple fan was in
the studio when Glenn recorded his piece. I think
the song is a joke as well but you probably has
to consider the fact that they looked at it as a
big chance being the soundtrack to a big fancy
Hollywood movie and all!
That said I do have the LP, the CD, the 12"
vinyl single and at least a couple of different
pressings of the 7" vinyl single! ;)
