I agree with Sean. If people are so adamant that they must hear a funk album right this minute, go pick up Red Hot Chili Peppers or Prince or something in the mean time. We all came to love Glenn and his music through Trapeze and Deep Purple and Hughes/Thrall. Those are all rock. Some funky, some bluesy, some downright heavy. You guys are making it sound like Glenn made a career out of music like Parliament/Funkadelic and recently abandoned it all for Heavy Metal. That's not so. I first heard Glenn with Gary Moore, and I gotta tell you my reaction was not "Wow, this guy's great...if only he'd sing something he really believed in." Instead, I sought out every album I could get my hands on with Glenn on it because he was, and still is, passionate and heartfelt in whatever he sings, whether it's Coast to Coast, Way Back To The Bone, Video Killed THe Radio STar or even that pesticide commercial he sang on. This is all out of our hands anyway. To quote Extreme "If you don't like what you see here, get the funk out." I take that to mean if you don't like it, don't buy it. Just don't try to take away from others' enjoyment of it.
