I have read many messages on this board about how Glenn is not being true
to himself because he has decided to do a "rock" album. Well, I feel this is bunk.
Just because he is not doing a "funk" album does not mean he isn't being
true to himself. Was he not true to himself when he did Deep Purple? Was he not true to himself
when he did Phenomena? Was he not true to himself when he did Brazen Abbott?
None of these were true "funk." Glenn is very talented at all types of musical styles,
so why do people consider him not being true to himself??? Whether he does a rock
album, a blues album, or a funk album, he puts 110% of himself into the project, and
this is what makes him true to himself, not the style of music he does.
