The Hooker-Lees were Glenn's first band, made up of friends and schoolmates. They later became The Intruders. Later he joined The In Pack, followed by The News and not long after that, Finders Keepers!

Finders Keepers, Glenn's first success, released their debut single, Sadie, The Cleaning Lady with Another Day as the B-side.

A breakthrough year with Trapeze releasing their first single, Send Me No More Letters.

Following shortly thereafter, the debut album, Trapeze is released on Threshold Records.

An appearance on the BBC-2 television show, Colour Me Pop caused a huge buzz the day they played, July 5th, 1969 which was recorded at the Lafayette (The Laf) in Wolverhampton. They performed Send Me No More Letters.
